Abstract: Informationalization of enterprises is a kind of strategic reformation for contemporary enterprise managament.This reformation is intricate and enduring.In order to ensure the informationalization,progress of Chinese enterprises will be carried out smoothly,the author suggests that information must be managed by specialized and stable organizational subunits in which a senior authorized manager belonging to enterprise,strategic level,Chief Information Of ficer(CIO),must be established. In this paper,the component parts,positions and functions of CIO and specialized organizational subunits are also further described.
