Abstract: This paper considers financial innovation item, hypothesizes an initial cost contained in the process of financial innovation, and introduces these two ideas into Lucas’ cash-in-advance model,then uses the extended cash-in-advance to analyse the effect of such factors as technical innovations, interest rate changes, econowhc growth as well as the effect of financial innovation on the changes in the demand of money.
