• Chinese Journal of Management Science is an academic journal headed by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and cosponsored by Chinese Society of Optimization, Overall Planning and Economical Mathematics and Institues of Science and Development, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The journal was founded by Professor Hua Luogeng in December 1984. Originally named "Optimization and Management Science" as a quarterly publication, it was renamed " Chinese Journal of Management Science " in 1993 and changed to a bimonthly publication. In 2014, it was changed to a monthly publication.

   

  Chinese Journal of Management Science is one of the most influential academic journals in the field of management science in China, adhering to the "36 word" publishing policy proposed by Professor Hua Luogeng. Journals mainly provide academic exchange platforms for researchers in higher education institutions, research institutes, management personnel in enterprises and institutions, and government departments. The topics of papers published in the journal include general management theory and methods, management decision-making and optimization, management systems engineering, information management and information systems, management psychology and behavioral science, data science and intelligent management, logistics and supply chain management, service science and engineering, technological innovation and management, engineering and project management, risk and emergency management, industrial engineering, production operation management, transportation management, financial management and financial engineering, medical and health management, resource and environmental management, social management engineering, strategic management, e-commerce and sales management, quality and reliability management, human resource management, etc., to reflect the latest research achievements in management science in China and promote academic exchanges.

   

  The journal has been included in the FMS Recommended List of High Quality Journals in Management Science as a T1 level journal, recognized as an A-level important journal in management science by the Management Department of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and is also included in citation databases such as Chinese Social Science Citation Index (CSSCI), Peking University Chinese Core Journal Catalog, China Science Citation Database (CSCD), and China Institute of Science and Technology Information Science and Technology Scientific Paper Statistical Source Journal (ISTIC). The full text is also included in the Chinese Academic Journal CD (CNKI) and is open for access on the journal homepage.

   

  In 2009 and 2011, the journal was awarded with the title of "One Hundred Outstanding Academic Journals in China". In 2008 and 2011, it was awarded the title of "China Excellent Science and Technology Journal". From 2012 to 2017, it was selected for the "China Association for Science and Technology Excellent Science and Technology Journal Engineering Project - Journal Academic Quality Improvement Project". In 2018, it was selected for the "Chinese Science and Technology Journal Quality Construction Plan Project - Academic Innovation Leading Project". From 2012 to 2021, it was awarded the "Most Internationally Influential Semester Journal Award" by CNKI for 10 consecutive years. In 2019, it was selected as one of the first batch of think tank journals in the 1.0 edition. This journal is also an important source of abstract publications such as National People's Congress reprints and Xinhua Digest.

   

  The editorial office of Chinese Journal of Management Science has been actively hosting and co organizing various high-end academic conferences for a long time. The "Chinese Journal of Management Science Academic Annual Conference", co-hosted by the editorial office of the journal, has been held continuously for 23 sessions since the first edition in 1999.
