  I. About Journal

  Chinese Journal of Management Science is an academic journal headed by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and cosponsored by Chinese Society of Optimization, Overall Planning and Economical Mathematics and Institues of Science and Development, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The journal was founded by Professor Hua Luogeng in December 1984. Originally named "Optimization and Management Science" as a quarterly publication, it was renamed " Chinese Journal of Management Science " in 1993 and changed to a bimonthly publication.

  
  

  Chinese Journal of Management Science is one of the most influential academic journals in the field of management science in China, adhering to the "36 word" publishing policy proposed by Professor Hua Luogeng. Journals mainly provide academic exchange platforms for researchers in higher education institutions, research institutes, management personnel in enterprises and institutions, and government departments. The topics of papers published in the journal include general management theory and methods, management decision-making and optimization, management systems engineering, information management and information systems, management psychology and behavioral science, data science and intelligent management, logistics and supply chain management, service science and engineering, technological innovation and management, engineering and project management, risk and emergency management, industrial engineering, production operation management, transportation management, financial management and financial engineering, medical and health management, resource and environmental management, social management engineering, strategic management, e-commerce and sales management, quality and reliability management, human resource management, etc., to reflect the latest research achievements in management science in China and promote academic exchanges.

  
  

  II. Submission Requirements

  1. Content Requirements:

  o    The submission must have a clear opinion, concise language, and reliable data. The length of the paper should not exceed 12 pages.

  o    The paper should be organized in the following order: Title, Author(s), Affiliation (Institution Name, City, Province/State, Postal Code), Abstract, Keywords, Chinese Library Classification Number, Main Text, Conclusion, and References.

  o    An English version of the title, authors' names (in Pinyin), affiliation, abstract, and keywords must be included. Additionally, a brief introduction of the corresponding author of the paper is required (including name, date of birth, gender, ethnicity, hometown, institution, position, professional title, research area), along with contact phone number, E-mail address, and postal address.

  o    If the research is funded by any grants, please indicate the fund name and grant number.

  1. Formatting Standards:

  o    The submission must be in its final, polished form. Foreign language letters and symbols must be carefully distinguished in terms of case (uppercase/lowercase), font style (upright/italic), and positioning (superscript/subscript), with clear distinctions in height and placement.

  o    Symbols and formulas must be typeset using a formula editor.

  1. Main Text Formatting:

  o    Adopt the standardized numbering format of this journal. The first paragraph of the main text should be labeled as "1 Introduction" (left-aligned).

  o    In the "1 Introduction" section, briefly state the specific scientific question addressed in the paper and its significance. Provide a concise and systematic review of relevant domestic and international research progress on this topic, citing the corresponding references. Highlight the main differences and unique features of your research compared to existing studies.

  1. References:

  o    Only the most essential references should be included, accurately reflecting the current state of relevant research both domestically and internationally. Unpublished materials should not be cited.

  o    For detailed formatting instructions for each section of the manuscript, please refer to recently published papers in this journal.

  
  

  
  

  III. Manuscript Acceptance and Publication

  The decision on whether to publish a submitted manuscript is made by the Editorial Board. The journal reserves the right to make appropriate editorial revisions (or request the author to make revisions) to accepted manuscripts. If the author has not received a notification of acceptance or revision within six months after submission, they are free to dispose of the manuscript as they wish. Please note that the journal does not return submitted manuscripts; authors are advised to keep their own copies.

  
  

  IV. Journal Recognition and Inclusions

  This journal has been included in the "FMS High-Quality Journal List for Management Science" as a T1-level journal and recognized by the Management Science Department of the National Natural Science Foundation of China as an A-level important journal in management science. It is also indexed by prestigious citation databases such as the Chinese Social Sciences Citation Index (CSSCI), Peking University Core Chinese Journals, Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD), and the Chinese Scientific and Technical Papers and Reports (ISTIC). The full text of the journal is also included in the China Academic Journals Full-Text Database (CNKI). The journal has been honored with titles such as "Top 100 Outstanding Chinese Academic Journals" and "China's Elite Scientific and Technological Journals." It has been selected twice for the "China Association for Science and Technology's Elite Scientific and Technological Journals Project" and was included in the "Chinese Scientific and Technological Journals Quality Construction Plan Project - Academic Innovation Leading Project" in 2018. For ten consecutive years, it has received the "Most Internationally Influential Academic Journal Award." It is the first batch of journals included in the "Think Tank Journal Group Version 1.0" and serves as an important source for abstract journals such as Renmin University of China's Reprinted Newspapers and Periodicals and Xinhua Digest.
